La Torra de Llobera

La Torra de Llobera is a farmhouse which was built in four stages, the first of which dates back to the eleventh century, when it was a watchtower. It was later extended in the seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. It has now been converted to provide all mod cons whilst conserving its charm.
The village of Llobera is located in the south of the county of el Solsonès, at a height of 888 m.

Local places of interest: La Torra is 9 km from Solsona, 10 km from the Santuari del Miracle, significant, amongst other reasons, for its Baroque altarpiece, 35 km from the ski runs of Port del Compte and 45 km from those of Tuixent. The Dolmen de Llanera megalithic site is only 3 km away, and la Torra de Vallferosa, a circular tower dating back to the eleve nth century, some 7 km.
